Oct 11, 2024 - Been in my whirlwind season of October. Due to a scheduling conflict, I had to change my book signing at Colonial Williamsburg to Saturday, November 2, Check Appearances at a Glance for the times.

Sep 26, 2024 - I just got word about the panel I will be on at Monster Fest October 5th. It will be at 3:30pm in Room 2. This is at the Chesapeake Central Library in Chesapeake, Virginia. About the panel: Horror authors explore irrational fears in fiction and discuss what irrational fears you would like to see explored in the horror genre. I am happy to announce my horror microfiction story, It Only Happens Once made into Dark Descent: Whispers from Beyond anthology by Dark Holme Publishing. At this time not sure of the cover or when it releases. When I find ot the release date, I will post it in What's New.

Sep 18, 2024 - I have news! First, for the writers out there, I am doing a webinar for National Association of Independent Writers and Editors, as I am their Paranormal Writing Expert. It is called Writing the Book Blurb That Will Catch the Reader’s Attention to Your Book. It will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, from 2-3pm EST, on Zoom. The charge for it is $30 and you have to register for the online class here.

I was contacted by Busch Gardens Williamsburg to do a book signing of some of my books during their HOWL-O-SCREAM event happening September through November 2 this year. I will be there only Friday evening, October 25, Saturday evening Saturday, October 26, and Sunday evening, October 27.

It will be their 25th year for the Halloween event. I will be in Der Marktplatz in Oktoberfest. Looking at the map for Howl-O-Scream, it will be called Shop of Horrors. I will be there at 6pm when the event begins, but I may be gone an hour earlier than the park's closing at 11pm. Friday and Saturday, and 10pm on Sunday, to be able and get to the parking lot and drive away from the park, to avoid the crowds exiting the park themselves.

You'll need to purchase a park admission ticket for one of the nights of Howl-O-Scream, in order to get to me and buy a book from the shop and have me sign it. The event price is included in the park admission. Directions to the park in Williamsburg: click here.

Aug 7, 2024 - You can now order copies of Demon Memories at Book People Richmond for the book launch being held October 15th at their bookstore. Order online at their website here or even call their bookstore at 804-288-4346.

Aug 1, 2024 - I have two new events for October. Waiting on a contract for a third event which, if comes and I sign, it will be a big one for me. For now, I am doing Monster Fest on the first Saturday of October at the Chesapeake Central Library. Check Appearances at a Glance for times and address.

I will also be reading from the Haunted Richmond book on Thursday, October 24, 2024, evening, for ten minutes at an event at The Basement in downtown Richmond. For times and address, check Appearances at a Glance for that around October.

June 5, 2024 - I will also be back at the Hanover Book Expo this year, happening Saturday, November 9th. Admission is free but check Appearances at a Glance for the rest of the information.

Jun 4, 2024 - I will be doing a talk/workshop, Writing the Book Blurb That Will Catch the Reader's Attention to Your Book at Living Your Writing Life Symposium presented by the Virginia Writers Club's Symposium on August 3, 2024. Check the Appearances at a Glance for address and times, plus what other workshops are being held and where to sign up if you are a writer wanting to attend.

I will be doing Vintage Trixie's Curiosity Faire on August 24, 2024, in Chesapeake, Virginia, Check Appearances at a Glance for address and times. Admission of $5 will be for anyone over 13, while those 13 and under are free.

I am also happy to report another book signing for Demon Memories (the book releasing October 15th.) on November 16th, at Turn the Page Bookshop in Williamsburg, Virginia. Check Appearances at a Glance for address and times.

I will also be doing once again the Jungle Bell Bazaar at Ecoff elementary School in Chester, Virginia on Saturday, December 7th. You can get the address and times at Appearances at a Glance.

May 21, 2024 - I will be a guest at two Virginia conventions in the beginning of 2025. First one is MarsCon January 17, 18, and 19th. The other one is Convivial, which will be February 28, March 1, and March 2. Check Appearances at a Glance for where they will be, plus their websites. Both conventions' hotel rooms are set up to reserve and they will go fast, so reserve quickly if you plan to attend either one or both conventions.

May 13, 2024 - I am excited to share some great news. First, there will be a release party on release day of October 15th for Demon Memories at Book Signing Party, meaning a party of food goodies and water, with me doing a reading from the book, then signing copies of the book afterward. Check Appearances at a Glance for time and more.

Second, I am working on a new nonfiction ghost book for Schiffer Publishing. The manuscript will be due November 15, 2024, so the book would be out in either late 2025 or in 2026. They tentatively have Ghosts of the Appalachian Trail, but I am hoping for more inclusive as there are cryptids, UFO encounters, and legends too. This will cover 14 states. There will be fewer photos as I won't be able to get to some states, but will have photos for Virginia, West Virginia, and some in North Carolina.

If you live in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, and Georgia, and yes, even Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia, not far from the Appalachian Trail and have a story for me, contact me here. The last date I will accept is October 31, 2024.

Apr 24, 2024 - Demon Memories, my YA dark fantasy novel, is now available for pre-order from Dreampunk Press. At this time, the hardcover issue only. The paperback and eBooks will release in January 2025. The book is 402 pages. So far, you can find it at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books a Million--find the links to those at the Novels Page where the book is. Pretty sure it won't be long before Bookshop.org will have it too. This is the first book of the Moon Ridge trilogy.

Apr 18,2024 - I have another book signing for The Haunted Zone anthology at Book People Richmond indie bookstore on Saturday, May 18th-which is Armed Forces Day. There will be four other authors joining me-Sirrah Medieros, Tara Moeller, Sam Casey, and V.L. Jones.

In addition, I have an event lined up for Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Staunton Public Library's Nonfiction Author Fest. I will have promo on hand for my fiction books, but only have my ghost books, Horror Addicts Guide to Life 2 that has my nonfiction article, and copies of Werewolves, Dogmen, and Other Shapeshifters Stalking North America, on hand at my table that day. Apr 8, 2024 - My children's picture book, Christmas Magic, took second place in The Book Fest Awards for Spring 2024! It was exciting to receive that in my email today.

My upcoming YA dark fantasy novel, Demon Memories, from Dreampunk Press has a book cover! Plus, there is a book trailer from the publisher on their YouTube channel. Apr 2, 2024 - I am happy to announce two events at which I will be a vendor. The first is at Tidewater Horror Convention September 12, 13, and 14th. Mar 18, 2024 - My publisher, Tundra Swan Press is having a party for the horror anthology, The Haunted Zone on Zoom April 4, 2024! Sign up to attend the Virtual Launch party and hear from some of the authors (including me), and the cover designer. Sign up (it's free) on Facebook at the event page to get the link for the zoom party the day before or day of the event.

Scary Dairy Press, the publisher of the horror anthology in which I have a story included, finally has a paperback version of the book available at Amazon. You can get either the Kindle version, or the paperback here.

Feb 12, 2024 - The Terror at Miskatonic Falls anthology released February 7th, and has hit the top 100 at Amazon at #2 in poetry, and in horror books and horror fiction--not #2, but not bad spots at all. It is available in Kindle, paperback and hardcover at Amazon.

I am also announcing that The Haunted Zone's will be released on April 4, 2024. We will have book signings and a virtual launch April 4th on Zoom by the publisher, Tundra Swan Press. The Virtual Launch Party via Zoom will be 7:30pm eastern to 8:30/9pm. There will be Q&A, a few readings, interacting with guests, games, prizes, etc. Closer to the date, I will try and get the link posted here, or follow me on Facebook or Instagram, even on X, where I will share the link earlier that day.

I will be at Authorcon III where Tundra Swan Press will have a table. I will not have a table, but will have my other books with me in my car in the hotel parking lot. Let me know if you're interested and we can arrange for you to buy one that I will sign. Sales will be debit/credit only. For The Haunted Zone, Tundra Swan Press will be selling them. I assume the publisher of The Terror at Miskatonic Falls, Cemetery Dance Publications, will have copies on hand as they, too, will have a table at the convention.

Jan 31, 2024 - I am excited to announce that my short story, Gotta Get Out of This Place is live, as the horror anthology, Vinyl Cuts, is out. Scary Diary Press has put up the Kindle version the book at Amazon for now, but for now, you can buy the book on Kindle. Go to the Anthologies page to find the link to Amazon by the book's cover.
