Nov 25, 2023 - I am happy to say that the hardcover version of Christmas Magic can now be ordered from Books a Million at their website or in the bookstores, and at the Bookshop.org website (this supports local independent bookstores in your area and elsewhere). Nov 20, 2023 - You can order a hardcover version of Christmas Magic now. It is on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Links for both are with the paperbacks are here. I am betting the hardcover will be on Bookshop.org and Books a Million website eventually. If you are going to the Jingle Bell Bazaar at Ecoff Elementary School December 2nd, I will have some copies of it along with the paperback ones.

Nov 3, 2023 - I am pleased to announce my first book signing for my new book, Christmas Magic, at Turn the Page Bookshop in Williamsburg, Virginia on Sunday, December 17th. You can get the address and times, plus the bookstore's website at Appearances at a Glance.

Nov 3, 2023 - My Christmas children's picture book with fairies, Christmas Magic, was released October 31st! So far, it is available in paperback on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. There will be a hardcover version, too, but Dreampunk Press needs to fix an issue as that book has need for bigger dimensions. Once the hardcover is released, it will be $19.99, and I will post about it here. My first signing for the new book will be at Hanover Book Expo on November 11th--you can check out information and address for that at Appearances at a Glance, or in the flyer attached here.

Oct 8, 2023 - The Kickstarter campaign for The Haunted Zone anthology in which I have a story and a poem included was a success by Friday, October 6th. Although it has one last day (ends at midnight EST October 8, 2023), people can still do it. Read the letter about it being reached, supported by 100 backers at The Haunted Zone: here.

Sept 26, 2023 - I got the information from Nightmare Weekend Richmond on where my table will be for October 13-15th. It is D1. Check the photo I snapped of the floor plan of the Exhibit Hall. Sept 23, 2023 - My panel/talk: SHAPESHIFTING CRYPTIDS STALKING THE UNITED STATES for Nightmare Weekend Richmond happens Sunday, October 15th, 10/15/23 from 4:30pm to 5:20pm in room E24 A-B. It will be a discussion about shape-shifting cryptids, from werewolves to the Kushtaka (ottermen) of Alaska, wendigos, and more!

Sept 12, 2023 - I will be a guest at Marscon 2024 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, being held January 12, 13, and 14, 2024. Check Appearances at a Glance for the hotel's address and Marscon's website link for more information, like on the hotel and its con rate for the rooms.

I have a short story and a poem in a new horror anthology coming out in March of next year. A new Kickstarter for the anthology, all written by women veterans is now live! It will be live until October 8th. Please, help support it as it's not only an all-women, military-veteran-writers-supported horror anthology, but once we get pro rates along with for the artists of the cover art and artworks inside, any money made from the anthology will go to future book proceeds go to the NVF and the Women Veterans Support and Resource Programs by National Veterans Foundation.

There are 70,000 words in 25 unnerving short stories and poems for the readers' horror-filled delight. Eerie, colorful artwork and unsettling stories unite to keep you engaged and turning the page! Sept 5, 2023 - I will be a vendor at Hanover Tavern ParaCon January 20, 2024, at the Hanover Tavern in Hanover, Virginia. Besides vendors, there will be speakers, and more. Aug 2, 2023 - I have two pieces of news. First: I have a Halloween horror short story, At the Movies, and a Halloween poem, Something is Coming, accepted for the Halloween issue of Sirens Call Ezine that will release October 2023.

The second news concerns my poem, Dementia, which will be included in the Lovecraftian horror poetry anthology, The Terror at Miskatonic Falls, that has a set theme. Jul 20, 2023 - Got two upcoming book signings--one in September, the 30th, and another October 21st, both in Virginia. The September 30th event will be at a new indie bookstore, Turn the Page Bookshop, in the Williamsburg Premium Outlets in Williamsburg. Check Appearances at a Glance for the time and address.

The other event is on October 21st, and will be at Barnes and Noble in Chesterfield Towne Center, for Werewolves, Dogmen, and Other Shapeshifters Stalking North America. Jun 30, 2023 - My horror cryptid short story, Hunting the Goat Man, is now live as the summer issue, #62 of the Siren's Call Zine by Siren's Call Publications released today. Find my story at page 104. You can download the PDF of the zine free here.

I am sharing the cover for The Haunted Zone anthology that will have the story, Haunted App, and my poem, Ghosts of Written Words, included. All the authors, and editor are in the military worldwide or veterans. This will be a super anthology. Waiting to see if she will accept the reprint of my horror story that was runner up for the WSFA Small Press Award, Bottled Spirits.

Proceeds from The Haunted Zone anthology book sales will go to National Veterans Foundation for their #womenveterans programs. We couldn't be more excited! This 4-star rated nonprofit knows how to help our veterans no matter how difficult the need.

Mar 7, 2023 - On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Horror Writers Association Virginia Chapter and I, as moderator, will have a panel, WRITING SCARY IS THE HOT NEW ITEM, at 8:30 - 9:20pm, in the CREATOR CAVE (E22A-B) at GalaxyCon Richmond. The convention will be held at the Richmond Convention Center downtown. You can find our panel and every else on Saturday here. We're still trying to get a fourth panelist. So far, the other authors/publishers I can confirm are D. Alexander Ward and Maria Badillo.

Panel Description: Horror authors and members of the Horror Writers Association talk about writing horror and why scary stories are becoming hot fiction in genre writing.

In addition to being an author vendor at Authorcon 2 (presented by Scares That Care), I will also be doing a reading from my new horror story included in the Vinyl Cuts anthology (to be released March 31st). The reading is scheduled for Friday evening, at Authorcon 2 at 7:45pm – 8:30pm (Second Floor, Room 11). I am sharing the limelight with author Anton Cancre. And on Saturday, April 1st, I will be on a panel of Cryptids at 3:30pm – 4:30pm (Second Floor, Room 16).

Feb 23, 2023 - I am excited to announce I will be doing a book signing of both Virginia's Haunted Historic Triangle 2nd Edition: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Other Haunted Locations and Haunted Virginia: Legends, Myths, and True Tales at Colonial Williamsburg! I was last there was 2019. It will be at the Revolutions Store in their Visitor Center on May 27th. Check Appearances at a Glance on this page for the times and address. Feb 15, 2023 - Scary Dairy Press has sent an email to the contributors of the new horror anthology, Vinyl Cuts. It should be released toward the end of March 2023 and includes my story, Gotta Get out of This Place. When we get the cover art and anything else about the book, I will share it here.

I will have two book signings in Hampton Roads Saturday, May 13th. Both bookstores are Book Exchanges. The first one is in Norfolk, the second in Virginia Beach. It will be for my nonfiction cryptid book, Werewolves, Dogmen, and Other Shapeshifters Stalking North America, and if I can get some copies of the new horror anthology, Vinyl Cuts, I will have that one too.

I will also be at Horror Writers Association's StokerCon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania June 15-18th. For more information about the book signings and StokerCon, check Appearances at a Glance.

I can tell you, I heard the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel where StokerConwill be held has sold out of all their rooms. So, if you're not from the area, check other hotels and hurry, because there is to be a big Taylor Swift concert on Friday and Saturday, so they expect most hotels to be sold out.

I will be doing a book signing last Saturday night in October for Rosewell Plantation in Gloucester, Virginia during their ghost tour. When the docent in charge provides more info, I will post it to Appearances at a Glance.
